In my room drawing I used all pencil to create a very practical drawing because I based most of it off of my actual bedroom. This assignment taught me how to use a one point perspective to create a realistic picture. Some of the main elements in my room are space, line, and value. The most compelling peices of this picture are the ceiling and the detail of the other parts of the room including the bench seat. The feeling/mood of the room is light and happy because there isn't any dark objects in the room. The point of this drawing was to learn how to draw in depth rooms

My peppers drawing is 2 peppers of contrasting colors black/grey values drawn with pastels. A new skill I learned from this drawing is how to create depth by using dark and light constrasting colors, for example the light pepper has a darker background.
Leafs is a drawing of two different types of leaves that I had taken a picture of to use as a guide in my pencil drawing. One new skill I learned in the process is how to make the leaves look more alive by not making the closed up with a harsh pencil line. If you use a softer more open line it gives the drawing a very lively look. The main elements in my drawing include line, contrast, value, and light/dark. Using these together create a very in depth realistic drawing the has many layers to it. The main focus of the paper is the long pointed leaves that have a couple layers with the darkest lines. Behind the pointed leaves are many squiggly lined leaves that cover most of the paper and are a little lighter to create depth. To me when I look at this there aren't many harsh lines which shows me I like to draw softer more natural pictures.
